1. Short title
This Act may be cited as the Passenger Transport Industry (Buses) Retiring Benefits Act.2. Interpretation
In this Act—"Continuous employment" has the same meaning as in the Employment Rights Act;"worker" means a person employed in any section of that part of the transport industry which relates to the transport of passengers for hire or reward by bus or contract bus.3. Retiring benefits
4. Regulations
The Minister may make such regulations as he thinks fit for the purposes of this Act.5. Offences
Every employer who fails to comply with section 3(1) or any regulations made under this Act shall commit an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding 5,000 rupees.History of this document
