The territorial sea of Mauritius is and has always been the sea between the baselines and a line of which every point is at a distance of 12 nautical miles from the nearest point of the baselines.8. Limits on exercise of sovereignty in internal waters
Any right of innocent passage existing in internal waters delimited by closing lines prescribed under section 5 shall continue to exist to the extent that it existed immediately before the closing lines were prescribed.9. Limits on exercise of sovereignty in archipelagic waters
