Notice Under Section 78 of the Public Health Act

General Notice 458 of 2020

Notice is hereby given that section 78 of the Public Health Act provides that where any part of Mauritius appears to be threatened with, or is infected by any dangerous epidemic, endemic, infectious or communicable disease, the Minister may by notice published in the Gazette, direct that sections 79 to 83 of the Public Health Act shall be applicable to Mauritius.
2.NOW THEREFORE, in view of the fact that Mauritius appears to be threatened with, or infected by, Coronavirus, notice is hereby given that sections 79 to 83 of the Public Health Act shall apply to Mauritius.[Please note: numbering as in original]Dr. K.
