Order Under Regulation 3 of the Quarantine (Quarantinable Diseases) Regulations 2020

General Notice 459 of 2020

Notice is hereby given that having regard to the prevalence of a quarantinable disease worldwide, I am satisfied that denial of entry of a conveyance into Mauritius is necessary to prevent a danger to public health in Mauritius, including the spread of infection of a quarantinable disease in Mauritius, I am, by order, in respect the arrival any conveyance in Mauritius, prohibit the conveyance, excluding any conveyance transporting goods, from entering the territory of Mauritius as from 10:00 am on 19th March 2020 for a period of 15 days.Dr. K.
