Order under Regulation 3 of the Quarantine (Quarantinable Diseases) Regulations 2020

General Notice 578 of 2020

Notice is hereby given that having regard to the prevalence of a quarantinable disease worldwide, I am satisfied that denial of entry of a conveyance into Mauritius is necessary to prevent a danger to public health in Mauritius, including the spread of infection of a quarantinable disease in Mauritius. I am, accordingly, by order, in respect the arrival a conveyance in Mauritius, prohibiting a conveyance, excluding a conveyance transporting goods, from entering the territory of Mauritius until 1 June 2020 at 8 p.m.This order shall be deemed to have come into operation on 4 May 2020.Dr. K.K.S.
